Hanover HERO - Jim Foley
Director of Pricing for Hunton Andrews Kurth
Jim Foley is originally from New York City, but has called Ashland home for more than 20 years. He is currently the Director of Pricing for Hunton Andrews Kurth, a renowned international law firm with over 1,000 lawyers. He is also proud to have served his beloved community for two terms as a member of the Ashland Town Council. One of those years, he served as Mayor of the “Center of the Universe.” Jim says that he and his family have found their “forever home and community” in Ashland.
Upon accepting the nomination as a Hanover HERO, Jim said “Hanover Habitat is one of my favorite organizations. I love their mission and want to do my part to help in the community.”
Jim received his MBA in Finance from George Mason University. He is also a former certified public accountant. He is married to Lorie Foley and together they are very active in the Ashland community through their work with the Ashland Theater, Strawberry Faire, Train Day and the Ashland Musical Variety Show. They enjoy their great family which includes children Amanda, Jimmy and Nora, son-in-law Steven and two grandchildren Dani-Alexis and Ven. When asked what Jim considers his greatest achievement, he responded “it’s to be determined!”
