Set Up

Friday, May 8, 2020

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Help Chick-fil-A set up the Hanover Municipal Airport!  We need help putting up tents, tables, laying out the vendor area, and more.  We are hopeful the weather will allow us to leave these items out overnight, and ready for the morning!

Shift 1

Saturday, May 9, 2020

9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Shift 1 needs volunteers to set up individual tents, games, and other areas around the airport, and then manning those stations.  Some individuals will be asked to help with parking, event admission, trash pickup, and other miscellaneous tasks that will need to be done during the event.

Shift 2

Saturday, May 9, 2020

1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Shift 2 needs volunteers to help relieve some shift 1 volunteers who need to leave.  You could be manning stations or games.  Shift 2 volunteers will need to be flexible and go where help is most needed.  The event ends at 4, and these individuals will help clean up everything afterward.

Parking:

The event entrance will take place to the left of 11152 Air Park Rd. The arrow on the map marks where the gate will be.  When you arrive, you will walk towards the star.  We will have a tent beside the main entrance.

Parking is limited.  Parking is now allowed in the airport lot.  Please carpool if at all possible.  We will have volunteers out helping with parking.

There will not be a place to store your belongings.  Please only bring the essentials!

Volunteer Check In

When you arrive, walk towards the main entrance.  We will have a volunteer tent directly beside the entrance.  Chick-fil-A will be giving you a t shirt and food voucher.  You can redeem your voucher in the hospitality area after 11:30 a.m.  We will do our best to get you the shirt size you request.

Chick-fil-a will be handing out assignments when you arrive.  Assignments can be anything from helping with kid crafts to picking up trash.  If you find yourself twiddling your thumbs, reach out to a station lead or head back to the volunteer tent.

If you are volunteering for community service hours for school or another organization, please bring your required paperwork.  You MUST check in and out with Amanda Gunter, Hanover Habitat for Humanity's Director of Community Engagement.

*Volunteers who are needing to get community service hours for school or another organization, can get hours for working this event.  Please note on the form below that you are needing a signature or verification.
