Who are we? The ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. It was established in 2005 to provide a self-sustaining funding source to Hanover Habitat for Humanity. All Habitat for Humanity ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community and hope locally and around the world.
We accept donations of new and used building materials, as well as home furnishings and home decor items, to be resold to the general public at discount prices. We receive donations on a daily basis and our store inventory is constantly changing. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Whether you are a general contractor, do-it-yourselfer, antique lover, or artist—you will find items to suit your style and budget.
Please come visit the ReStore and see what all the excitement is about. Help us divert valuable materials away from the landfill and back into the local community, while also helping to build more affordable housing in the Hanover community.
By shopping, donating and volunteering at our Restore, you can also be part of a worldwide movement dedicated in pursing affordable housing for everyone. Proceeds go directly towards our mission of providing a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Can’t make it to our store? Help unlock a family’s future by supporting Hanover Habitat with an online donation today.
