Sponsor A House

Churches, businesses and civic organizations can sponsor houses by providing money and volunteers.

Right now, a full-sponsorship is $60,000 (or $30,000 for a half- sponsorship and $15,000 for a quarter-sponsorship) and volunteers work for about nine Saturdays. Habitat matches the fundraising efforts of sponsoring organizations with individual donations to get the approximate $70,000 needed per house for building materials, land and infrastructure. If an organization does not have enough volunteers for this commitment, we have other groups who want an opportunity to work and would be happy to work with the sponsors on the house. Most organizations find that the challenge of building a house brings the group closer together. Individuals also can sponsor houses and Habitat will find the volunteers to build them.
